Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 4, 2026

Navigatr LLC ("navigatr," "we," "us," or "our") provides a field-sales platform that helps sales representatives discover nearby businesses, plan routes, log visits, manage a deal pipeline, and schedule appointments and follow-ups. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at getnavigatr.io and our web and mobile applications (together, the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you or your organization creates an account, we collect your name, email address, role, and organization.

Content you enter. We store the sales data you and your team put into the Service, including deals, contacts, partners, activity logs, notes, and appointments.

Location. With your permission, we use your device location to show nearby businesses and plan routes. You can turn this off in your device settings.

Voice notes. If you dictate a note, we send the audio to a transcription provider to convert it to text. The audio recording is discarded after transcription; we keep only the text you save.

Google account data. Only if you choose to connect a Google account. See Section 3.

Usage and device information. We collect standard technical information such as browser type, device information, and log data to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use information

We use the information to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service, including to run your pipeline and routes, sync your calendar and email activity if you connect a Google account, prevent abuse, provide support, and communicate with you about your account.

Google user data is an exception to the general statement above. We use Google user data only to provide the specific features described in Section 3, and not to improve the Service generally.

3. Google user data

This section describes how navigatr accesses, uses, stores, and shares data from your Google account. It applies only if you choose to connect a Google account. navigatr works without one, and connecting is always your choice.

3.1 Google Calendar

When you connect Google Calendar, we request these permissions:

  • See the list of your calendars (calendar.calendarlist.readonly), so you can choose which calendar to sync and so we avoid touching calendars you did not select.
  • View and manage events on your calendars (calendar.events), so we can add and update your navigatr appointments and follow-ups on your calendar, and read your existing events so your planned day works around meetings you already have.

What we store. For events in the period navigatr displays, we store event start and end times and time zone, event title, busy or free status, event location where one is present, and the Google event identifier assigned by Google.

What we do not store. We do not store attendee lists, attendee email addresses, event descriptions, event attachments, or conferencing links.

Events we create. When you create an appointment or follow-up in navigatr and choose to add it to your calendar, we write that single event to the calendar you selected. We do not modify or delete events that navigatr did not create.

3.2 Gmail

If you connect Gmail, navigatr records that you sent an email to a contact in your navigatr workspace, so the activity appears on the customer record without you logging it by hand.

We request one permission: read metadata for your messages (gmail.metadata). This permission does not grant access to the content of any message. navigatr cannot read your email.

What we store.

  • Recipient email addresses in the To and Cc fields
  • Subject line
  • The date and time the message was sent
  • Message and conversation identifiers assigned by Gmail
  • The number of attachments, as a count only

What we do not store.

  • The body of any message, in whole or in part
  • Message previews, snippets, or excerpts
  • Attachment files
  • Attachment file names
  • Images embedded in messages

We record this information only for messages sent to an email address associated with a contact or account in your navigatr workspace. Messages that do not match a record in your workspace are not stored.

Viewing a message. navigatr does not display the contents of your email. Each captured activity includes a View in Gmail link, built from the message identifier that Gmail assigns. Selecting it opens the message in Gmail, signed in as you.

Access to the message is controlled entirely by Google. navigatr does not proxy, cache, mirror, or store the message the link points to, and a person who does not already have access to your mailbox cannot use the link to read your email.

Why navigatr is built this way. navigatr is used by sales representatives in the payments industry, whose email routinely contains merchant applications and banking documents. navigatr is designed so that this information never enters our systems. We could offer additional features, such as searching your email inside navigatr, by requesting access to message content. We have chosen not to.

3.3 How we store and protect Google user data

We securely store the access credentials needed to keep your account in sync. Google user data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access within navigatr is limited by role-based access controls.

3.4 How we share Google user data

We do not sell your Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Not all of the service providers listed in Section 4 receive all categories of information. Google user data is processed only by our application hosting and database providers, listed in Section 4. We do not transmit Google user data to our transcription, email delivery, or error monitoring providers. We may disclose Google user data where required by law.

3.5 What we do not do with Google user data

  • We do not use Google user data to develop, train, or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, including foundation models.
  • We do not permit humans to read your Google user data, except where you have given explicit consent for a specific support issue, where it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating a bug or abuse, where the data is aggregated and used for internal operations in accordance with applicable law, or where required by law.
  • We do not create permanent copies of Google user data beyond the specific fields listed in Sections 3.1 and 3.2.

3.6 Revoking access and deletion

You can disconnect your Google account at any time from within navigatr, and you can review or remove navigatr's access in your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

When you disconnect, we immediately stop accessing your Google account, revoke our access tokens, and delete the stored Google Calendar and Gmail data described in Sections 3.1 and 3.2. Activity records you created manually in navigatr remain, because they are your own sales data rather than Google user data.

3.7 Limited Use

navigatr's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed for them to perform their work for us.

Google user data is treated differently. We do not de-identify or retain Google user data after you disconnect your Google account or delete your navigatr account. It is deleted, as described in Section 3.6.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.
